Karen's School of Motoring has been established since 1996 and concerns itself with all aspects of driver training we are one of the largest independent schools in Essex, UK and are known for our high standard of driver training & successful pass rates. Our long term aim is not only to teach people to drive, but to "save lives on our roads", i.e. Safe Driving for Life.

This website is packed with information to ensure we put you on the right road to driving success. At present we have over 15 female instructors working under our name and cover an ever increasing area which encompassing most of Essex and Kent. The reason we are so successful is our instructors are encouraged to work together and to become involved in all areas of Driver Training for the benefit of our pupils.

Karen's are involved with the Probation Service, Social Services and Essex Community Council, and each year fund raising for charity. (All of our instructors get involved in this side of things).

We had an ongoing contract with the Ministry of Defense to train drivers to their requirements, and work closely with the Fords UK and various other large companies teaching both learner drivers and advanced driving. The market for advanced driving is ever increasing as companies try to reduce the costs of insurance, fuel and wear and tear on company vehicles. To this end we now have many instructors working in this field working with both I.A.M and R.O.S.P.A. DIAMOND.

The D.S.A. (Driving Standards Agency) are now more than ever promoting Road Safety in Schools and Colleges. We have been teaching Pre-Driver Courses in Schools and Colleges for many years and now work closely with the D.S.A in this area. Since the introduction in 1996 of the Driver Theory Test we have set up a number of evening classes in local schools etc. These courses are held at regular intervals throughout the year again with input from the D.S.A.
