Make a booking

Initially we recommend a two-hour *assessment lesson (£60) before you book advanced driver training, during the first 45 minutes your instructor will complete an assessment of your current driving skills, this assessment will form the basis of your Advanced Driving course.

Your instructor will give you feedback based on your assessment, followed by a demonstration drive by your instructor complete with an instructional commentary and debrief at the end.  Your instructor will then become your own personal trainer and coach giving tips, information and advice, helping to improve your driving skills.

Further lessons would normally be booked in advance for 2 hour sessions.  The price of both assessment and further lessons is *£30 per hour, correct as of 16/10/15.

Our recommended course reading is The Highway Code and a further publication called Roadcraft, the essential police driver's handbook This book is used by most Police Forces around the country to train their advanced drivers.  These books should be read in conjunction with other notes provided by your instructor during your driving course.

Karen's advanced driving instructors are all fully trained having completed the advanced driving tests themselves, some are police trained and many hold the Diploma in Advanced Driving Instruction.
